Direct Appeal Campaign
Financial support from our families is as important as ever, but the methods for fundraising are a little different at Blach. We don't have walkathons, silent auctions, carnivals, or magazine drives which typically generate large amounts of funding for our elementary schools. Instead we keep fundraising to a minimum, asking parents to help the PTA by donating to the Blach Direct Appeal Campaign.
While any amount is greatly appreciated, we are asking each family to contribute $250 in order to reach our goal. All donations will directly benefit your child this year at Blach. The Direct Appeal Campaign funds the excellent programs that support Blach’s outstanding student performance. Some of these programs are:
- Library support
- Printing costs
- Technology and Computers
- Curriculum Enhancements
- Student Handbooks (day planners)/ School Directory (Free for all students)
The Direct Appeal Campaign has proven highly successful in previous years. The 2008-2009 goal is 100% participation!!! To donate, write a check payable to “Blach PTA” and send it into the office. All donations are greatly appreciated.
