LAYC Dances
The Los Altos Youth Commission (“LAYC”) sponsors dances for junior high school
students and their guests. LAYC memberships will be sold
during the month of September.

The dates of the dances for 2011-2012 are as follows:

| December 9 | 7:30 - 10:00 |
| January 6 | 7:30 - 10:00 |
| February 3 | 7:30 - 10:00 |
| March 2 | 7:30 - 10:00 |
| March 30 | 7:30 - 10:00 |
| May 4 | 7:30 - 10:00 |
| June 8 | 7:30 - 10:00 |
LAYC cards are offered to 7th and 8th graders who live in Los Altos or attend a Los Altos School.
Memberships for the 2011-2012 school year are $79 for the 9 dances provided, and participants must have a LAYC membership card in order to participate in the LAYC dances.
LAYC Dance Membership Applications will be available online by Monday, August 15, and will be delivered to schools in September.
Memberships can be purchased by downloading an application from Los Altos Recreation. The applications can be dropped off at Hillview Community Center. Your child should be present when dropping off the application (or
email a current photo of your child to toskoui@losaltosca.gov prior to dropoff).
Applications will accepted at the Hillview view Community Center on the following dates between 3-6pm*:
Tuesday, Sept 20 Tuesdays, Oct 4, 11
Wednesday, Sept 21 Wednesdays, Oct 5, 12
Tuesday, Sept 27 Thursdays, Oct 6, 13
Wednesday, Sept 28 Friday, Oct 14*
(*4-5:30pm this day only)
LAYC Memberships will also be sold on campus at Blach on certain days after the beginning of the school year. Check school hand-outs for specifics.
