Blach Intermediate School has a distinguished tradition of high academic standards and outstanding student achievement. We take great pride in providing students a solid foundation of academic excellence, a caring and nurturing environment, and a middle school experience rich in personal relationships. We value creativity and growth, friends and laughter, and most importantly, mastery learning.

This is a school that benefits from a dedicated and gifted staff. Faculty members have distinguished themselves on a local and state level with numerous awards and acknowledgments. Blach also depends a great deal on a very supportive parent community with marvelous volunteers and stellar home-school communications. Survey results from our parent community indicate a high level of satisfaction with our school and with student achievement.

Blach students are among the best in California as evidenced from our outstanding API scores and the fact that we are rated among the top five best middle schools in our state. Students have at their disposal a wide range of curricular offerings in addition to the rigors of the traditional core program. The school has an outstanding safety record and receives the highest marks from our community as a school site dedicated to nurturing and caring for the middle age child.
